No answers in 10 hours? I guess nobody knows for sure ???? Here's my guess. Somewhere along the line, an installation failed. Whenever you try another installation, Active Synch tries to "finish up" the one that failed first. Anybody else?
The ultimate answer is to hard reset, then install apps one at a time, making sure each one works before going on to the next. It doesn't take as long as you might think, because you just have to use Active Synch's "Add/Remove" programs feature.
