A very important remark on ftxPBrowser : if the 'New Window' mode is enabled (represented by the 'New Window' icon,
,on the toolbar), then, HTML forms using POST won't work at all. Therefore, for every page that you would like to fill in forms in, click this icon before submitting the contents of the form!
BTW, I've also posted a quick intro to the app to my PPCMag Expert Blog at http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/ind...b=1#trackbacks .

NetFront 3.3 Technical Preview 1.02 is Out! A Comparative Review & Bug Report
I've just finished scrutinizing the latest build, 1.02 of NetFront 3.3 Technical Preview. It has a lot of news (and still some not-fixed bugs); anyone interested in browsing the Web should check out the article to see what's new.
http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/ind...3&p=326&more=1
In addition to the above article, it has extensive information on the three scroll modes of Netfront.

For some reason I don't see that option when I try to assign the buttons.

Are you sure there's no <Rotate Screen> in Settings/Buttons?

PalmGear doesn't seem to use anything that is not supported by PIE, as far as JavaScript is concerned. As far as Java is conerned, however, exactly where (at what URL) do you receive the message? If PalmGear uses applets somewhere, your choices are:
1, using a PIE Java plug-in; for example, that of CrEme
2, use the Java-emabled NetFront or Thunderhawk

This error information comes up when I am using skweezer and do a search for palmgear. When I find the link I want, I click on it and then when it starts to load, this is where all this starts coming into effect.

That's because Skweezer strips all JavaScript code out of pages (I've mentioned this here in my PPCMag Expert Blog), unlike some of its alternatives, for example, MobileLeap. Therefore, you should switch to the latter. It's free and is even better than Skweezer (please see the comparison & review of it in the above-linked blog entry).
EDIT: added this answer to my PPCMag Expert Blog at http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/ind..._javasc&more=1

Oh when will Minimo ever run on my x50v?!
I really wish Access would just fix and release a good browser. I dunno menesys, NF3.2 is unusuable. Im all for netfront 3.1.
Scrolling.
3.1 - Push down on Dpad it scrolls down
3.2+ - Jumps link to link like PIE. #2 reason I don't use PIE.
Cookie handling.
3.1 - logs in everywhere, often looses login at exit.
3.2 - cant log into most places, so stuck as guest. I like forums and only Aximsite works, rest just brings me back to login as if I hit refresh.

Go to Tools/Browser Setting/Misc and set the Mode: drop-down list to "Scroll" in the Cursor key list:

Are you situated in the northern or the southern hemisphere? If you're on the sothern, then, the DST bug (3.2 (and 3.3 too) has a DST bug as far as cookie handling is concerned) affects you. If in the northern, then, it shouldn't be a problem; that is, there's something else.

Hrmm that makes me wonder if all my problems are because I put netfront on my SD card instead of ram.
It doesnt seem to care that I have the setting on SCROLL instead of select link.. its somehow stuck on select link scroll... I might have a older version of 3.2 or something then.. I shall check it out.
Im in the northern hemisphere... specifically southern california. So its probably just being screwie with me.

Has anyone gotten this to work on a x50v. I just downloaded and tried it again and no luck. When I tap on it, nothing every happens, suggestions?
