It was only with pre-3.2 versions that it stored its settings in a file in the file system and not in the Registry. With those old versions, it was indeed advisable to install them in the RAM to avoid the common error of not being able to write the config file to the storage card.
You may want to reinstall NF to the RAM - and/or, upgrade to NF3.3 TP1.02, if you can put up with the TP restrictions.

I have a very specific use in mind for my pocket web browsing... Playing games on Pogo. Do any of these browsers or plugins for PIE allow the x50v to play on Pogo? Thanks for any help...

Using MultiIE, anybody else notice that it has a problem with tap-command overlapping while selecting word completion? I select a word to complete, and it completes the word and immediately behaves as if I selected whatever lay underneath the word completion pop-up. I end up inadvertently switching tabs and selecting outside of a text window, resulting in keyboard pop-down (while posting here on Aximsite) when using MultiIE.

Yup, that is a severe problem with MultiIE. If you enter a lot of text utilizing world completion, just (temporarily) disable tabs before this to avoid tab switching. Then, you won't encounter tab switching problems.

He is right. My Axim X3i does not contain a choice for <rotate screen> either. It goes directly from <ok/close> to <scroll down>. I would love to remap a button to change from portrait to landscape.

I've just published a benchmark of file download efficiency/speed of all the download-capable Pocket PC browsers/add-ons, including the beta version of Opera, NetFront 3.3 TP 1.03, PIE and the two additional PIE-based download-enablers, ViTO Downloader and ftpxPBrowser. As it is shown, PPC browsers have tremendously different download speeds/efficiency when it comes to download files to the storage card. The article is really worth reading if you often download files with Pocket PC-based browsers using high-speed connections and wondered whether you can speed up the downloading process.
Please see http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/ind...3&p=466&more=1 for more info.

Please read http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/ind...3&p=463&more=1 - with some really easy registry tweaking, you can assign screen rotation to any hardware button. Let me know if it works with you.
(BTW, AFAIK, there's no WM2003SE upgrade for the 3i. Are you sure it's running WM2003SE?)
