I loaded Icbar onto my x30 and it would not run properly at all. What could be the problem? I only have built-in storage.
By the by I know just enough about computers to be curious and get myself into trouble. I have trolled around many forum sites and this is one I joined. Great reading all of your postings.

Welcome to Aximsite!
Icbar is not compatible with WM2003SE. (See posts 127 & 132.)
I'm using vBar. Magic Button constantly dies on my on WM2003SE, and WisBar Advance costs money. vBar is pretty good - I give it 7.5/10.
I've had no trouble with this in wm2003se on x30. Are you aware that if you tap and hold the 'X', Magic Button hides itself, tap and hold again unhides it?
Really? That gives me some hope. Maybe it's a conflict with other software I'm running. DSTutz - thanks for the info that it works on your WM2003SE. I'll give it another go.

You're welcome! On the conflict issue, there are a lot of apps that can take control of the 'X' button. I think they fight with each other. I use PocketPlus and disabled it's 'X' button functionality. I much prefer Magic Button as task manager over PocketPlus. :)
I believe the logic is speed; it's faster to switch between programs when they are minimized rather than closed.
Alternatives to Icbar include Wisbar Advanced and Magic Button. Do a search on these to see what others have to say about them.
First I don't search for my answer and then I make the misogynistic assumption that because you are on a computer site you are a guy. Ladies and gentlemen you are looking at the world's biggest jackass.

Gigi, my most sincere apologies.
wow, you use big words lol, and you confuse me. I had to go look up that word misogynistic which i found to mean "having or showing a hatred and distrust of women"!
But just to add something to this list, the programs that i like are:
On purchase of my Axim I had a quick browse of the CD that came with it and noticed that there were a few trial apps on it.
A few months later I had another browse and discovered a full version of Resco Picture Viewer which I had just been considering purchase of($24.95).
You could argue that it's not free as it's probably included in the cost of the Axim, but it isn't pre-installed and was a welcome bonus when I discovered it.
The money saved will most probably be spent on Resco File Explorer as I have been most impressed with the trial version.
