I used to use StopTime on my old iPaq, but I seem to remember that it didn't work right after I got my Axim. Seems to me that it crashed on the Axim. Did the developer fix it so that it works ok now?

Handy-
I'm using StopTime 1.0 with great success. It's about the clock/timer I've seen.

Another data point...
Just got an Axim Basic with A05 ROM/WM2003 - and am successfully using + recommend:

Icbar - to have the "X" really close programs and not suck up all the available memory without me knowing. Also provides a great memory and battery indicator.
Launcher - To get a lot of apps as small icons on the Today screen
Shutdown - To be able to do a soft reset without hassle
Stopwatch 1.5 - as a great stopwatch and easy countdown timer/alarm
vxIPConfig - to see IP info and renew ip address when using a Wi-Fi card

Are we still doing this? ;)

I used both Launcher and the tdLaunch, they both makes my today screen, and coming back to today screen, incredibly slow... Icons would show up after 30-40 seconds. One by one... So I assume there was some incompatibility with the other freewares, possibly ICBar?

Well, Icbar and Launcher works great together, been using them forever... I've never used tdLaunch though.

I've got some new freeware(not new as in NEW, but I haven't seen it mentioned in this thread) that I use, PocketBlog and EuroToday. EuroToday was great when I was on holiday to Greece last week :approve:

I don't know why mine works slower..Anything , any add-on to today, makes it terribly slow, only good one is the batmemtime.. that's it.. ;(

Everyone has covered most of what I use, but to answer an earlier post I tried Magic Button and found that ICBar worked better for me.

Thanks everyone for sharing.

Hi there all - I am new to the whole pda game and bought an IPAQ H2210 (sorry was not an AXIM). Never the less I was pulling teeth and hair trying to find software and utilities for it. Thanks to you all on this awesome site I have had loads of tips and apps. There needs to be more forums with guys and gals like you.

BTW - ICBar rules.....wicked app.

Now for a Q - I have install MVP Player and it works like a charm (mostly), I downloaded a 50 meg avi surfing file that just won't seem to play. Keeps giving me an "unable to load file - then something about out of memory". I have more than enough storage memory 512MB CF card and not a lot of apps installed so system memory is only half! Any ideas for these larger files? Am I being a complete nutter?

Thanks again for all the tips and info. Keep up the communication levels, and remember that life is short - you have one shot at it. Make it a life never to be forgotten - for yourself and those around you! Take care.
