This may be a really stupid question but when trying to download IcBar 3 choices are offered: ARM, MIPS, SH3. I believe these refe to the type of processor but noweher in my Axim X3 can I find a refernce to any of these. So which one is it? Thx

OK, I now know to download ARM file. I did so but when I find it in my X3 Fie Explorer it tells me that there is no app associate w/that file. Help!

What kind of file is it? A .zip ? Maybe you have to open it with your Windoze desktop first. Usually the ones that install directly on the PocketPC are .cab files.

Just a note about TodayPlus, as seen on the forum for that software......

The TodayPlus forum is not totaly dead, we are trying to find someone to host it. As of now we are meeting on the PDACorps forum and Brighthand. I mite have news soon. I hope.

Nice thread, however I cannot use ICBar as it causes tons of visual problems with my X30. Even ends up locking it up. Same for that other skinner (wize advanced? or something) locks up my pda and i have to soft reset it to uninstall :(

Also I can't find thaT OwnerInfo X everyone is talking about, where is the download section in aximsite? :(

My favorite freeware apps are:

Icbar (purely functional today screen plugin)
Total Commander (what file explorer should be!!)
Cab Installer (allows you to specify .cab install location)
Sharp Vault (Password protected database for passwords, pins, etc.)

...and numerous games, that goes without saying though right?

I looked into sharp vault, it appears that it is no longer free. When you click on download it takes you to their site and they ask for $14.95 for the program.

having read through a lot of this list I realize I have a ton of stuff on my pda !! See my sig for a list of the programs I have. I have mostly freeware with a just a couple of low cost or trialware installed.
