A search of "Javascript" and then "Netfront Javascript" on this forum brings up conflicting information if there is a browser that will do javascript.

What's the answer - can I do Netfront 3.2 on the x50v and expect it to run javascripts?

Yes, both Netfront 3.1 and 3.2 support ECMAScript Language Specification 3rd Edition (JavaScript 1.5) and Dynamic HTML. What conflicting information have you come across?

When I did my search on the forum, a couple of folks said they had Netfront but that they couldn't run javascript. Since they didn't give a version of their Netfront, I thought I'd post a quick question and, as expected, got an answer from an expert.

Netfront has a pretty good JS engine. Not as good as that of Thunderhawk or Minimo, though.

Can I ask someone to try a webpage for me with Netfront. I have a dumpy webpage with a javascript menu that doesn't seem to work with the trial version. Can someone please tell me if you can navigate the menu bar at www.seise.net ? Thanks for the help. Reply here is fine.

It's a no-go with Netfront 3.2. I even tried configuring with an IE useragent - no luck.

Thank you. I was afraid that wouldn't work either. Maybe time for a redesign of the site.
