I have been installing my favorite programs on my new X50V but found that Card Export II 2.02 refused to install.

I contacted Softick and they sent me a link to a version of Card Export that isn't on their site, version 2.03. This works like a champ and both the CF and SD cards not show up, the CF loaded with my games and the SD with all my various non-program files.

One a second note I found a problem with tasks. I have learned that when I use Dell's Switcher Bar to exit the Task program and then later reenter Task I find that while the various tasks are still there the contents of notes is blank. I have to reset the PPC for the text to reappear.

Anyone with a possible solution to this.

I have a brand new X50V with A05 ROM loaded.

Hey Mike,

Can you give us the link they sent you to download the version of card export that will work. I am having the same problem.

There lies a concern for me. I did reply back to Sofstick support about that very issue. Could I give a link or even email out the file to people. But I haven't heard back from them on that.

Could someone educate me on this issue. Would that be illegal to post the link??

Instead of getting the link, I'd be more curious to hear why Softick hasn't made it public yet. Stability issues?

I checked the file I got from them earlier on, it is marked 203BETA. That would explain at great deal and because of that I don't think I should give a link without their OK.

I don't think they would have a problem as this just a trial version. But anyway let us know as soon as you hear back.

Once you install it there should be an icon at the bottom right that you can tap on. It gives you the option of active sync or card export. Chose which one you want without the axim being docked. If it is currently attached to the computer in either mode it will not give you the option to change it since there is an active connection.

Thanks kilthro.. it works great! Do you know of anyway to see the BIS as well as the CF on 2 different drive letters?

I got am email back from Card Export II tech support. He ok'ed posting the link he game for for version 203.

I did ask him about future versions and some features. They are working on 204 now and it will be released "very soon". I asked him about support for built-in storage and there seems to be problems with that. Their program checks for FAT filesystem which BI storage doesn't seem to use, or at least different PPCs use different systems. But they are working on some ideas for this.

I even asked him about a replacement for Microsoft's Remote Display system. Nothing definite but they have several projects in the works he says hinting that maybe one is this.
