Outlook Contact sub-folders

Hello folks
Does anyone know how to sync Outlook Contact sub-folders from your desktop with Pocket Outlook Contacts, to create identical sub-folders on the handheld?
Any help much appreciated
Davin
P.s. I checked old posts on this issue - couple of questions but no answers!

Can't. ActiveSync doesn't support it.
Best you can do is to use catagories.
However, there are products that will sync subfolders in Outlook.
Like Intellisync, MightySync. Google on "pocket pc synchronization" will point you to them.

You can't sync subfolders of anything in Outlook except Inbox. You need to put all of your contacts in the top level folder and use categories. If you have Outlook 2003, you can then group by categories on the PC, eliminating the need for the subfolders.

I just had a look at the Microsoft website, they have something called Pocket Contact Synchronizer which sounds like it might do the trick. Has any one used it before and is it any good?

I had the same question as Davin and did a little search. I found this thread and it looks like Brobinson has the answer. Thanks for the help.

By the way Davin, did you try the Pocket Contact Syynchronizer? I'm going to go look for it now and give it a try.

Man, I love Aximsite. I did what Brobinson said to do with the whole categories thing. I never even knew it existed. It worked great. I don't even know why I bother with Microsoft's website. I always find my answers here a lot faster. That's also usually without asking a question. I just type in a few words in the Aximsite search bar and I almost always find my answer.

I can't say enough how much this site has helped me.
Thanks
