It looks interesting but doesn't come up at all inside Windows CommanderCE, which is what I use 90% of the time. The other 10% of the time I use Resco Explorer. I never use File Explorer. Does Open with... not work in any other file manager?

It uses basically a plug-in architecture for the windows shell (technically its a COM extension,) which basically mean yeah, only through file explorer, or possibly file chooser windows like in pocket word.

I have used it a little, but haven't had time yet to thoroughly test it :approve:
Send to...Hmm, meaning a quick way to move to common folders?

Yeah, much like the Open With, but a selection of predefined folders or a chosen location to move another file or folder. Just a shortcut to cut/copy and paste.

Had a quick go through advanced explorer and tried it on a couple of different docs and so far the results are good, I'll keep trying it as I use the different docs and feedback, I like the idea of a "Send to" option, that sounds very cool to.

Suggestion:
On your "open with" utility, would it be possible to add a recently used program for thar file type?

I'm not sure I follow what you mean. Do you want a global list of programs that were recently used for any extension?

for me, it works like this, tap-and-hold till menu comes up click open with, Browse for exe program to open with.
Is there a way to simplify it, and skip the browse for often used apps?

It should be saving recently used programs already in the combo box. It stores the recently used programs for each file extension. What happens when you click the down arrow on a file of a type you've opened with another program before?
