Sounds like you need to spring for a new computer.
No kidding! I'd love to! But on a grad student budget, it's not gonna happen anytime soon (or at least not until I get my next student loan check!)

Thanks JMJSelect, you hit the nail on the head. I can't use Outlook on my desktop and I don't use Outlook on my PPC.
Thanks again,

The problem here is that the PPC is tied very closely to Outlook, and good tools for syncing it to other software are not really in wide distribution. Software authors expect you to do all your manipulation of dates etc within Outlook.
In the Palm world, lots of apps have been developed to directly manage the Calender and contact databases. Palms do not sync directly with Outlook WITHOUT some additional software and lots of people use the Palm desktop or some other software.
So, the long answer to your question is probably that utilities of that nature probably do not exist.

What ecleader is referring to is not a program or a utilitie or software of any type.
Someone went and manually wrote down all the holidays into the palm desktop(outlook for the PPCers) and then saved the holidays as a database. It's not a program or anything it was just data. I think he's asking for the data, if anyone did this for the ppc.
but i'm not sure if this is possible with ppcs

I thought I'd bookmarked a third one, but I can't find it now. Anyway, these are sorta what I have in mind, and they are for PPC so I may check them out....

Hogwash. Reinstall whatever you have to to make it work, up to and including Windows.
There is no such thing as "no way" ... all of us are running Outlook just fine.
I will take a deep breath and smile serenely here, to keep myself from being insulted by your apparent knowledge of my home computer system. Unless of course you were there, on the phone, with me and Dell Tech support over a year ago. We worked on the phone for three hours while we figured out that for some reason I'm missing several important DLL's and some other stuff I can't remember.
It came down to the man saying, "Well, do you anticipate using Outlook much? (This was before I owned and Axim so I said no.) If not, all of your other systems will be fine, but you just can't use this program (Outlook) to full, or even near full, capacity. If you want to use Outlook either get a new computer or completely wipe everything on your current hardrive and have a local tech reintall what you need. If you're happy w/out Outlook though, don't waste your time."
So... I guess I'm alone in the crowd you call "all of us" because, unlike you and the crowd, I cannot run Outlook "just fine."
Smiling, barely.

Thank you for your clear and concise answer, Darth Gates. And you're very welcome for the links! I hope they come in handy! Let me know if you chose to d/l one and how you like it.
