Firstly, I would like to say that I found a wonderful instant messanger available in .cab format that works on my axim. It is called Agile messenger and it connects to AIM, Yahoo, MSN, QQ, and wireless village. The link for the .cab file is at
http://updates.am-im.net/agilemessangerPPC.CAB. That out of the way I just wanted to ask users that already have this application if they could help me with a problem.
The messanger works great except for one thing. It has a push to talk feature that I seem to be able to use about 5 times and then it no longer functions. My guess is that these voice messages are temporarily stored on my built-in memory. I come to that conclusion because I am able to use the service again after a soft reset, which is what I normally use to free up said memory. The question is this: Any programming gurus out there who would be able to find out how to reroute the storage of these files to an SD card or if this is even the problem to begin with?
Not really a pressing matter, but it would be really neat to use this feature.
That aside.... this has to be the best darn messanging service for PPC that I have ever seen.
P.S. for those of you trying to download the software with your PPC device the page is in bianary so you need to download it with a computer and transfer it.
Axim X5's rock!!!!
