I want to be able to test PPC applications on my desktop before I install them on to my Axim.

I have download WM 2003 emulator & WM 2003 SDK... but now what?

Write a program like HELLO WORLD sample
then "test" the program
I think that got the emulator working before.

Now sync your emulator to ActiveSync on your desktop, and load applications just like you do with the real thing.

PS - Make sure you have the emulator that emulates the ARM processor (public release beta), and not the emulator that emulates an Intel processor (ships with Visual Studios). You can't run ARM-compiled apps on the Intel emulator.

ok.. I think I need a step by step.

I downloaded these two files:
-Microsoft Pocket PC 2003 SDK.msi
-Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition Emulator Images for Pocket PC - WWE.msi

..are these the right ones?

do you have to have visual studio/basic/.NET installed before you actually go ahead and install the SDK and the emulator?

A tutorial how to set up the emulator on your desktop would be really helpful.. wish there was one.
