at this point in time id rather play with opera rather then minimo.

i understand minimo is still in the earlier stages of developments.

Have you actually got this to work yet? I tried downloading that java .cab in the thread you linked, but it wouldn't run... Has anyone has any luck with this?

Should be on the IBM site. Use bugmenot to avoid making an account.

I ran it and well.. ^_^ neat stuff.
I dont know what language its in though... :(
Menu is Meny Back is Tilbake... O_Oa the screenshots were english too.

EDIT

After installing, change to English (if require) as mentioned, here

Start Opera -> Meny -> Verkt?y -> Instillinger -> Spr?k
-> English and OK

VGA does okay too... -_- wrapping kinda sux though.

Nope, as it seems - the MIDP environment has confined, full-screen only text entry capabilities.

Kinda fun to fiddle with, but no practical value at this stage of it's development (slow, no options, links don't work on aximsite)... at least on my X5.

EDIT: oops... links work, just didn't know you have to scroll down to see the results ... is this the same in the desktop version? Kinda clunky.

Still has a long way to go to catch up to even PIE, let alone Netfront and the other commercial browser alternatives.

Still, nice to see someone's trying.
