Why 192.168.0.2. Didn't you say your desktop was 192.168.1.1?

Thanks to Howard2k's help, I finally got VNC Viewer to work (well somewhat.. I dont get any menu bar on my PPC VNC Viewer ). I had to install TightVNC to run as server and it solved the problem. the port and IP config was fine the whole time.

Check for Legacy protocol support

Though you've fixed the problem, I thought I would post this for others using this thread as a reference.

The free VNC Viewer for PocketPC uses the VNC 3.3 protocol. For some reason, RealVNC 4.X server doesn't downgrade to the 3.3 protocol. If you go into your options on the VNC server and check the "Use only Protocol version 3.3" under the Legacy tab then it works great using the xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:0 connection syntax.

Firewall problem

I have read this thread and I have the following problem, that I hope someone will be able to help me with.

I have a setup where I'm able to use the .NET VNC Viewer to connect to a Win XP through my wireless LAN. Now, I have bought a new desktop and I'm trying to connect my VNC client to this new Win XP desktop. This new desktop has Norton Internet Security installed and it will not let me connect, not even ping the computer. I can connect to this new computer from my old Win XP box but not from my Axim X51v. Any ideas anyone?
