SPB PocketPlus vs iLauncher?

It seems a number of people use iLauncher. I wonder though, why do people choose this over SPB PocketPlus? It seems PocketPlus the same thing as iLauncher, plus a lot more!

Smaller footprint, lower cost, less resorces required, support that is second to nobody.

and the fact that it came as part of a discounted bundle with pocket breeze.

Pocket plus is pretty good too, and the fact that there are multiple poducts in the market place has got to be good news

I just tried ILauncher last night and took it off shortly thereafter. It is a good program, but I like Pocket Plus better.

I like them both, too. I think I still prefer PP, but iLauncher is gaining on them. The new iLauncher is really a great improvement.

As a launcher, I think iLauncher is superior. But, all of the other modules in PP make it a more robust and refined program at this time, IMHO.

Since I do like them both, I have them both on my machine and alternate. I also alternate between PocketBreeze and Spb Diary, and Spb Weather and SBSH Pocket Weather.

I think each developer's products compliment themselves nicely. And, since each have really great features that the other doesn't, I can't decide and settle on one or the other.

Good call on Calender+ - very nice. No need for Pocket Breeze now.

Pocket Breeze is great for the power user, but Calender+ does just what I want and no more.

Regards

Martin

Yep, I've bought everything mentioned so far and I stick with just Calendar+ and Pocket Plus.
Pocket Breeze is just way too overkill and iLauncher is redundant.

I tried out iLauncher yesterday and ended up uninstalling it after a day's tinkering and use. It's definitely a great launcher but there are still a few things that PP does better or in an easier way. What I really liked were the icons on the bottom tool bar. Well not exactly the icons but I liked putting the meters there. The only problem is that I use my PDA in true VGA mode all the time which made those meters virtually useless. However, I have no doubt that iLauncher will soon catch up with PP especially with the kind of support that is only found at SBSH.

I have PB, PW and now IL. IL is nice because its small, cheap and looks cool. All that IL is missing is a shortcut to adjust my back light (or a slider). SBSH's support is second to none!

I WANT to use iLauncher, I really do. I've tried using it with the free utilities that replace the extra stuff in Pocket Plus, but they just didn't cut it.

The only real Killer was repeating alarms. I found 3 free programs that claimed to do it, but they were all buggy and caused problems.

In the end I went back to pocket plus just because it did everything I wanted in one package, and did it correctly.
