Hey dogfood, I have an idea. Could you replace the bars with something that tells you the processor speed? Also and you give the option for colors, jsut processor, just memory, or just whatever the user wants? Like right now I jsut want processor but the memory is there also. I hope that you don't get upset about me saying these things about your program. It is great but I jsut thought that you could improve it. thank you. Keep it up. Bye.

How do you want the speed to be told? To be displayed somewhere on the screen? The whole idea of this utility is to be always visible but not intrusive by taking minimum screen space. Displaying a number somewhere on the screen all the time will get lots of people annoyed.
If you want to speed to be displayed only in the control application, that can be done easily.

As I said in the first post. I would do the color choice feature when I have the time. I see that feature as a good option but not too much value added. That's why I'm pushing it off.
I can also consider more choice of what to monitor. Right now you don't have the choice of NOT displaying battery level unless you turn the whole monitor off.

Your comments are greatly appreciated. :approve: I'm glad that so many people use my software and have given me so much positive comments. Please bear with me if I can't do everything you want. ;-)
Sorry for my short post before... I was on the PDA w/out keyboard... I just installed the latest version of registry tweak (2.0.0.1) on my Axim X3i hoping to finally be able to control my cache size. I set the cache to 5120kb but after the mandatory reset it was back to 21600kb. The cookie and history changes survive the reset. Is it possible to fix this? Thanks very much for the useful software!
That's weird. Do you try something for me?
1. Run the setting program and change the number to what you want.
2. Tap OK to close the dialog. Choose "No" when asked to "soft-reset" the device.
3. Without "soft-reset", run the setting program again and see if the number gets changed back to what it was.
Please let me know the result and also your OS version.

I would consider that a separate application. But I don't have the bandwidth doing that right now. You might be able to find something like that out there already by googling it.
BTW, on the desktop side, this is much cooler in the tray. (No screen shot for the tray icon in that link.)
Hmm... I don't know. Can you try this tool and see if it gives you the correct result?
I attached 2 screenshots taken while running cpuid as you suggested.
Once at 208MHz and once at 624MHz, as you can see the bottom bar always show the cpu being at full speed.
It's not a big issue anyway this software is great :approve: and I can do with that little problem.
If you need more infos to try to fix it , let me know. And thanks again for that software.
Valuable infos all the time , without taking screen space, that's a must have :D

Chihiro,
Thanks for doing the test for me. I would have to ask you do me another favor. Could you run the attached app on your device and let me know what the "CPU Freq" field tells you in those two different scenarios?
at 624MHz : CPU freq : 0x02000310
at 208MHZ : CPU freq : 0x02000310
same result with both frequencies and cpu load is about the same as well (it changes slightly)
If you need screenshots or more tests, let me know, I'll be happy to help.:approve:
That's weird. It's the same CPU as x50v. I don't understand why the registry reading is the same when running in different frequency. I need to look more into it. Sorry about that.
The same CPU load is normal. As you are running the program, nothing else special is going on.
Just go advance and press the manage files button.
