Just installed it and notice at the top of my screen there is a space horizontanally above the start button, with white lines thru it??? what is up anyone have the same problem. Kinda dont want that and want my 9 bucks back now.

Hi ucdoc :)
As Gambino P said, the top indicator is a meter that is added at the top of your screen and allow you to track one of your meters while using any software, and not only while you are active on your Today screen.
If you'll choose to remove it, simple enter iLauncher settings->Options (bottom tab)->and change "Today screen meter bar" to none.
On the same setting, you can also choose which meter you want the top indicator to represent (Battery, memory and so on...), apart from this, clicking the top indicator using your stylus will popup a context menu that will also allow you to change the meter this indicator represents while any software is active, since it is always visible :) (as you can see in the screenshots I included here below)
