guys.. I've installed Wisbar Advance 2. now when I change to a theme, it changes the color and appearance of the menus and top and bottom bars of the today screen but the theme (.tsk) remains the same as before. it asks me to do a soft reset.. but even after the reset the theme (.tsk) is the same one as before? how do I change the skin? do I have to adjust any of the wisbar settings?

Don't you just need to go to "Today" and change i there.

All *.tsk files will show there, choose whatever you want to use.

Go to Start>Settings>Personal>Today and under the Appearance tab, select the background you want to use.

with wisbar they came in .skin format and are under the wisbar/themes folder. but the today themes are .tsk and in "my documents" folder. do I have to move all the .skin files to "my document"? I thought wisbar had the capability to change the .skin by itself when you are choosing a corresponding theme.

There are two different themes that you need to keep straight: a WA2 theme (which is what you've described) and the today screen theme. Many WA2 theme suites come with a today screen theme, too, and it's a .tsk file. You need to change BOTH themes to get them both to match up, if you want to use them both. The today screen theme can be changed as Lvgdgts described above.

I get that. But the problem is that it says you need to restart for the colors to change. I restart but the colors are the same as before.

EDIT: I uninstalled wisbar and on reinstall I enabled WB2 theme for today. that solved the color change problem. :)
