Lets say you do a hard reset and the backup is in your cf card. What to do? DO you have install spriteback up to your onboard storage and then access the cf card? or do you perfer restoring from the pc backup (back that takes too long). So after a hard reset what are the best ways to restore?

The great thing about Sprite is that it has a self-executing restore feature. What this means is if you configure it correctly, any backups you make will be in a form of an executable file. When you tap on the file, the restore process will start WITHOUT the need for Sprite to be installed on your device or the need for your device to be connected to a PC.

ok so how do i do that? go to the file in the cf card?

You locate where your backup file is stored, tap on it, and it will automatically restore your device. Just make sure you save your backup in a location that is not touched by a hard reset (e.g., CF card, BIS)

Built in storage. It is the ROM memory on your PDA.

Built in storage. BIS is not volatile and will not be lost during a hard reset.

Main memory is volatile, and also known as ram. Saving progs to main memory means they get deleted if you do a hard reset. Main memory is necessary to run programs, so try not to store anything on it.

Storage card memory is the 3rd type and will not be lost during a hard reset. For more info see the tutorials or search the site for memory.
