Question FlashFormat and SD Cards

I downloaded a trial version of Flash Format: www.cnetx.com

I looked on their site, but couldn't find the answer.... Does anyone know why it only sees Compact Flash Cards and not Secure Digital Cards? It will format a CF card, but not SD cards? What gives? Does anyone know what other good Memory tools are available for the Axim/Pocket PC platform? Still looking for a good one. Thanks!

It should work fine on SD cards as well, have used it for both. There should be a drop down menu box that let's you select which card you want to format or defrag.

I'm curious, if it isn't recognizing your SD card, is the Axim recognizing it? Maybe there is a problem with the slot or your card.

On an aside,if you are looking for something on a more permanent basis I recommend Total Commander. If I am correct, the pocket version is Freeware.

Yes, The Axim does see the SD card, can read and write to it. Strange, huh?

Thanks for the link to Total Commander.
I'll check it out.

Thanks!

I upgraded from Flash Format v 2.1 to 2.51 and that resolved the issue. Flash Format can now see both CF cards and SD cards.

Thanks for the assistance.!
