Microsoft OneNote

I use Microsoft OneNote quite extensively in my work and was wondering if there is a PPC version that will sync up to my notebook, like Word sync's together?

Look into Evernote

Nope. I think you can only sync notes.

Checkout EverNote.

User forum here.

They plan to have PPC/Palm version out this fall.

Thanks, I downloaded the free version to give it a try. It would neat if it could import/export OneNote files, but most likely it won't.

Update* I'm not really sure what good this program does at you cannot sync from the PC to the PPC. Basically it lets you take notes on your PC and that is it, the syncing capabilites to the PPC are not yet active so what's the point?

Basically for me as an alternate to OneNote. However, for people already using OneNote, there is no compelling reason to switch other than liking Evernote's concept better. They may support conversions from OneNote at a later time.

One nice thing about Evernote, it is HTML based. All the data stored in it's database structure can be exported to XML.

Question? Does EverNote allow allow you to take notes on you PPC and upload to Evernote? I tried EverNote on my notebook PC but it does not sync to anything on my x50v or am I missing something here?

They are going to have a clip function for Outlook in the future.
Synchronization is scheduled for the fall.

I've used Phatnotes previously. Good app for notetaking with sync between PPC. Also intergrates well with Pocket Informant.

Evernote is a more advanced note app that allows web clips, d&g from other apps. Plus a template engine that allows user defined forms.

That said, Phatnotes is excellent for what it was designed for.
