Hi there. I was wondering if anybody knew of a low-cost/free graphingcalculator program for the Axim X50v. With this great screen and ability for 3D graphics, I would like to use that in my Calc. 3 class for plotting equations, remembering formulas, etc. Are there any other college students that can help me? Thank you.
I use Virtual TI Emulator, it emulates a ti graphing camc, download at www.ticalc.org and you have to have a rom, either download from a ti calc that you own, or download the ti-89 one from education.ti.com. WARNING!!!! You should have the calculator, using the rom when you dont have the calc is illegal!

Besides the TI emu, you can also use the HP48/49 emulator made for WM2003, I use this last one because I owned a HP calc during college.
If I have had a PPC in college I´ve definitely had used a Raven-kind calc with my ppc, but never replaced my HP.

Heres a link, its the os download, it will work with it. just put it in the same folder, the first time you use it, i will take longer to start up, be patient and one more thing, i said this once and i will say it again you must have the ti calc or else it is illegal!! oh yeah, i tested the os's from the ti's website and only the ti-89 will work, anything else, you must download manually, there is a tutorial on www.ticalc.org, sorry for the kinda long post good luck and heres the link: ROM: http://education.ti.com/us/product/apps/89os.html Tutorial:http://www.ticalc.org/programming/em...s/romdump.html

The interface is okay, but you really need to read the manual that comes with it to figure out all the options.
For a regular calculator use RDcalc as they mentioned above.
A lot of people prefer emulators, I would LOVE to have an HP-49g+ emulator but the ones currently available are only for the HP-49g and are a bit of a pain to install.
