Power toys for PPC. If you have not seen or heard yet, Microsoft has several very good free programs available for your Axim PPC. Several of which you will love!
First is a theme generator for PPC. It allows you to make “wall paper” or “today” themes for your Axim with any picture you can find. Down load some from the web or use your own from your digital camera! I have found this program to be addictive, its so easy to use and its also allot of fun! I think this is a must have just cause its fun and free!
Would you like a free keyboard for your Axim? Well you all ready have it in front of you! Remote Display Control for Pocket PC allows you to use your mouse and keyboard from your desktop to input information on your Axim. While this will not help you on the road it is very nice to be able to drop your Axim into the cradle and totally control your Axim from your desktop. The program is 15.6 KB and I installed it to my main memory. I have had no problems running this app and can not say enough good things about it. This is a definite must have! It’s free so try it out!
There are several other programs available at this sight but I have not used them, you must read the descriptions on some of these because they are not all for PPC 2002. Pocket PC Phone Edition Ring Tone Packs and Microsoft Password for Pocket PC are not for PPC 2002. Pocket PC Expense, Microsoft Power Contacts for Pocket PCs, Microsoft Internet Explorer Tools for Pocket PCs, Microsoft Today Screen Image Tool for Pocket PCs and Windows Media Skin Chooser for Pocket PCs are all available for free at this web sight.
