I have tried several times to install microsoft money 2006 to my axim x50v but keep getting the error message: can't find 'moneyce'. make sure the path and filename are correct and all the required libraries are available....can anyone help with what I might be doing wrong? Have tried installing to both my sd card and regular ram. Money 2006 matches the version I have on my computer. Thanks for any help........I love my new x50v but the learning curve seems to be very steep for this newbie. I'm trying very hard to study all the wonderful threads here; but its frustrating..even simple file transfers are a major issue. I will not give up...I will not give up.

1. download money 2006 from here.

2. put your device on the cradle.

3. connect with activesync.

4. run the downloaded .exe on your desktop.

..that should install money 2006 on your axim.

it seems to load fine into my axim....shows up in the program files ok ...but when I try to open it I get the cannot find moneyce error message???

1. Install to ram

or

2. Go to /windows/start menu and delete the shortcut
3. Go to location where installed
4. Copy moneyce
5.Paste shortcut to /windows/start menu
( default shortcut for moneyce is for ram install)

by default the shortcut refers to RAM. so like dark said.. delete the current shortcut and create a new one that'll refer to the actual location of the exe.

ok, i'm still trying to find the shortcut to delete in
windows/start menu....I found the one I need to copy and paste over, but I cant figure out where to stick it (not literally).
