The only instruction I have seen on skin files for windows media player says do not put skin files in your windows folder. Of course with typical MS helpfullness it did not say where I should put them. Can anyone let me know how this works please? I got several color skins from the windows site but have not been able to find a place that skin chooser will see them.

Put them in Program Files/Windows Media Player/. Just copy the folder right there.

I put them there. I got the skins from the Microsoft website and they all have the extension .skn. I have the yellow, the orange the silver. When I run media player and select the tools, settings, skin chooser it does not show any choices for skins. I am sure there is a lot more to know yet.
