Pocket Facelift calling home??

Interesting problem--when I'm at work and behind a firewall, any time my Ax tries to go outside to the Internet it soft resets. I've got another thread on here talking about Journal Bar resetting my Ax and I've figured out that stopping it from going out to get updates will keep it from resetting......so long as I have turned off Facelift.

If I leave Facelift on and disable Journal Bar, it still resets. But if I turn both of them off (FL off, and Journal Bar set to not go out and update) then it's fine.

So....I know that I can't get out past the firewall. That sucks. But, why is Facelift trying to get out to the Web??

Thoughts?

Facelift dosent try to get to the web... Its Journal Bar, pretty sure, I have both Journal Bar and Facelift and I have no problems, whenever I did have problems tho it was usually journal bar.

I also use Journal Bar with Facelift and don't have any trouble. It has to be Journal Bar.

Then this is truly perplexing. I'd have figured that it was JB only as well, until it started doing the same thing when only Facelift was running.

My good friend CartVader1, both IRL and on this board, posted over at Facelift's site and they said the same thing---FL doesn't go out to the web. I just find it very strange that it's exhibiting the same behavior as when JB was trying.to get outside. I don't have anything else that tries to go out instantly when it's connected.

Is it possible it is some wierd ActiveSync thing?

Nope....I've checked Task Manager prior to connecting.
