Today plugins and consumption
I primarily am looking for a better today plug-in for tasks. I am hoping for one that will list tasks due for the next x days, including birthdays.

I have tried Taskplus and I like the flexibility that it offers, *however*, it seems to consume battery at a high rate and significantly slows response time of the device. It seems to 'refresh' the data every few seconds, which is what I believe slows my AX down.

On the same note, I tried magic button for task switching and it really seemed to consume my battery and significantly slow my device. Once again, I switched back to the Dell taskbar.

Any suggestions on a better, non-battery/response draining task thingy?
Thanks in advance.

I use QuickTasks from ScaryBear Software (www.scarybearsoftware.com) - I found it performed better than anything else I'd tried (tAgenda, TaskPlus). They have a Calendar plug-in too, QuickAgenda, which I also use.

Depends on whether you're prepared to pay for something, or would prefer something free. They do offer trial versions though, so you can test it out before committing.

Thanks for the tip. I am checking them out and will share my unsolicited opinion.
