Since I work from Macs, I do almost all my installing by downloading CABs to my sd card (either by card reader or Bluetooth), then using cabinstl to install the programs. (I'm running an iPaq 4355.) I downloaded the CABs for both Pocket Clive and SpectrumAnywhere. I usually try to install on the sd card rather than in main memory. SpectrumAnywhere installed on the card okay, but doesn't seem to run right. I'll play with it a little more before deleting it to see if I can get it going. Pocket Clive insisted on installing itself in main memory, but seems to run okay. So, I'd advise going with it, and doing the installation yourself via the CAB. (And, since it's going to install itself in main memory whatever you do, you don't even need cabinstl. Just run the CAB using File Explorer.) Only problem: I've forgotten how to use Sinclair BASIC. I can't get a newline between commands. Do you remember how? (Now I wonder if I can find the old cassette tapes with my programs on them?) Have fun. And thanks again. Marc | |||||
