Microsoft High Encryption Pack
Anyone out there try this yet?

Microsoft High Encryption Pack

On the microsoft website they state (in threatening bold red lettering) NOT FOR Pocket PC 2002

However according to a Resco rep, it works well with Resco File Explorer 2003

They tested it on 5 out of 6 devices

Did not test on Axim- They haven't recieved their model from Dell
(another point for Dell shipping-lol)

You don't need it. Pocket PC 2002 already has it applied.

Do not download anything at Microsoft. Dell will provide it if you need it.

When I look at the encryption options under the Resco settings it doesn't go to up to the 128 bit level.

Would you know how to activate these settings if they are already included in the Axim?

Looks like the question has been asked at Dell's Support site. And of course no one really knows the answer.

If you want to give it a shot, you could install the "update", but be ready for a hard reset just in case.

Has anyone else discovered that with MS Microsoft High Encryption Pack installed on Axim X30 that Sprite Backup will no longer work? If you are getting the error that "Installation no longer valid" (or something like that) you might want to check into it.
