Decient shopping list program...
I have looked at just about every shopping list program that the folks here have mentioned, and none of them do what my HandDBase program allowed me to do on the Visor.

I want to create a list that I can sort by isle(sp?). The benifit was to be able to go through the store in one "pass" and get all that was needed.

There was one title that I can't find now that had "departments", but when evaluating it, I couldn't "change" the departments so that I could put in my own designations (01 - 16, etc...).

Maybe what I am looking for is a simple database program which is what the HandDBase program was. One that will allow me to make a filter to display only items that are checked, so that when I tap the check box, the item disappears from the list...

Any ideas out there? Am I the only one that likes to shop this way?

I use PocketShop 4.5 ----

Read about it at the author's web site www.sdmventures.com --- check out his bio, he used to be a programmer for microsoft.

You can d/l a trial version at www.handango.com

I think it's still $13.95 and is totally customizable. I use it at least twice a week.

There are others out there, so shop around and try 'em out....but this one is really intuitive, takes almost no time to learn how to use it.

Why don't you just continue to use your Handbase stuff on the axim?

I have looked at the software. It's "alot" of software for what I want to do with it, but it is an option.

I have been looking for some reviews of it to see if it will still allow me to view the database as a list and filter using a boolean field. I am assuming it can.

If I use HandDBase again, maybe I can take it to the next level and create fields for how often we buy a product so that it will automatically show up on the list.

Have you tried ListPro?

Download the trial from Handango and then download this Grocery and shopping lists template from Iliumsoft.com.

VOShoppingList is the one I had seen before that I have been trying to find!

It's funny, I passed by that one a bunch of times browsing at PocketGear and Handango!
