Measuring less than 10x10x1.4mm and offering 360 degree cursor control, MicroNav is characterized as the industry's most compact and advanced pointing device. Based on the company's patented force-sensing resistor technology, the device provides precise positioning data for Web browsing, gaming, and image editing in next-generation cell phones, GPS systems, PDAs, and digital cameras.
The device operates with force sensitivity of 1 to 100N and turn-on force of less than 1N. It is not affected by noise or vibration and is EMI/ESD-passive device.
The device is offered in three configurations - sensor only, sensor with microprocessor, and board mounted system. It is supplied for tape-and-reel systems and supports solder reflow techniques.
