[TIP] - Do this with your phone

We recently switched to Blackberries at work and we have had 2 or 3 people who constantly dialed others by accident while the phone was in their holster. Others had the battery go down very quickly and it looked like they tried to dial incomplete numbers several dozen times during the day. Turning off "Dialing from Home Screen" solved these issues (with the added advantage of turning on shortcut keys).

To turn this off, open the dialing screen, hit the Blackberry key, select Options, then General Options and change Dial from Home Screen to No.
