Bluetooth File transfer from 2750 to PC, help!
Hi, this is my first post to this nice forum and hope to get some help. I have a 1 month old iPAQ HX2750 and would like some help regardig BT file transfer. So far I do not manage to transfer files FROM my iPAQ to my desktop PC and now I think maybe it's not possible ??? I have no problems at all transferring through WiFi using mapped network, also no problems transferring via BT to another iPAQ HX2750. Recieving through BT from my desktop, another iPAQ and friends Palm also no problem, but as mentioned I CANNOT send from my iPAQ to my desktop op even friends Palm. Why this ? Limitation in WM 2003 SE ? Am I missing some important settings ? Bug in iPAQ HX2750 (sending/recieving to/from another iPAQ only tested with identical HX2750) ?

Hoping for some help

Thanks, yes I have but no info about transfering files using Bluetooth from iPAQ to another PC. Using the guide describing filetransfer only works when transferring to another iPAQ.

Any comments ?

OK...once you have a "network" profile set up on ipaq, you have to make sure you connect to your PC from the ipaq. Then you PC has to have shared connectiopn between bluetooth connection and network adapter (in network connections)...when you connect, your pc will ask for your encryption key, type it in, then from that point it should let you transfer files to whatever directory you had set up on yout PC...

All in all, it is a real PITA to get set up (that was about 2 months ago until i figured out my wifi.). Took me over 30 minutes, then when I got it set up, it was slow as all get out. If I were you, I would stick with Wifi...much easier/faster nd you can stream through it. I would only use BT for a phone/keyboard/headphone/etc...
