Both of them will get as far as the initial connection where it will ask for a password on my computer then a pass on my PDA then it asks if I will allow my PDA to connect to my computer...I say yes...then it shows my activesync icon in green with the arrows like its connected (because it is) then it pops a screen that says "Connect To" "Bluetooth activesync" "Status Connecting to Host" Buttons = Cance or Hide Status. It just sits there like that and activesync never recognized the connection on my computer. Maybe im doing something very simple wrong but im a n00b at this stuff so any help would be great!!!

Hi:
Try this
turnon ppc/bluetooth, select manager, select new, select activesync via bluetooth
on bluesoil my services properties, select activesync tab, check the autostart when my BT starts, APPLY,OK. Select tools, select configurations, select quick connect. on the chart that appears, select a com port that you plan to use for active sync(mine is com 14 (SPP) to Pocket_PC01 08:00:28:E8:1B:92) then select ok. right click on the active sync icon on the PC, under files menu, select connection settings, insert the ppc in the cradle, ad check to allow connection to one of the following(I used port 14 here). active sync should run. There. Hope I got it all right. I'm definately not a BT wizard. If this doesn't help there are some excellent guides here on the system.
