head on over to www.motomodders.net for a little more help. they might be able to get you hooked up with some moto hacks to get all of the bluetooth functions unlocked on your moto. look for me over there, i have the same username here and there.

make sure you have a usb cable for your phone though, because the programs required do not support bluetooth.

I know that with verizon wireless service, they don't really allow with the full capability of their bluetooth (crippled bluetooth as some people call it.) I personally own an lg vx8100 that also has bluetooth, I haven't really found a website that could help me out with syncing my pda with the phone, even though it says that it's connected, but I guess I've learned to deal with it. If I remember correctly, there was some litigation on it earlier this year about it but I'm not too sure about it.

I believe I read over on Howardforums.com that verizon disabled the DUN profile in the e815.

Download Bitpm. It allowed me to import my contacts from Outlook and upload the data to my phone. It also does ringtones, wallpapers, etc.

Actually, this is how you get it all to work:
On the E815, enter ##dialup (##342587 no need to hit the send key) - you have to do it very quickly and the phone wil say something like "dialup networking enabled" or something like that.

You should be able to connect now using the instructions in the link posted above. I've been doing this for a while successfully with no problems. As for billing, it only uses your airtime.
