Nope, it can't be done, easily. The HP BT headphones will only work with hp ipaq devices. I suppose you could hack the firmware on the headphones by modding your headphones with an RJ-11 port or something, then writing software to read the headphones, create a firmware update to allow them to connect to a bluetooth dongle attached to your PC, which you would also have to hack so that it could read the headphones, but I wouldn't have the slightest clue on how to do any of that.

Hard work is done

Kirker, Justin is right that it can't be done "easily" ...but then again it's not as hard as he said it was either. Head on over to GSM Forums (google it). Register for their forums, and then do a search for "Widcomm." Locate the 4.0.1.900 drivers. In the forum you can download the new drivers, and patches to make the new drivers work correctly. There's instructions on how to make it work. You'll have to boot into safe mode, replace a few files that have to do with your bluetooth stack, and restart.....It's more in depth, but not that bad at all.

My point: all the real hard work has been done for you. You just have to download, install, replace a few files in safe mode and bam! you can start listening to music, via your btooth hp headphones on your desktop. I wrote a tutorial on how to do at dv1000forums.com

Hope this helps! Feel free to ask me any questions if you get confused.
