Sending files over BT
I have no probs making a BT connection with another PPC, but is there anyway I can select a file to be sent over BT, kind of like when I beam something.

I had a friend who wanted one of my today screens. I'm not wild about establishing a connection and having him come find it. Is there any way (3rd party app or anytihng) that I can establish a connection, then send just one file. I guess I could create a shared folder and put the file in there and he wouldn't be able to get anything else??

TIA

After pairing your PDA with the other device, use the Bluetooth Connection Wizard to set up a connection (this creates a shortcut in Bluetooth Manager) to "browse files on a remote device." (Tap Bluetooth > Select Manager > New > choose "Browse files on a remote device" etc.)

Then when you want to send a file from your PDA to another device, open up Bluetooth Manager, tap the shortcut you created. This will open up folders on the other device. On your PDA, tap File > Send a File. This will open up window where you can select files to send to the other device. Navigate to the file you'd like to send and tap it with your stylus. The file gets sent.

Thanks Julie. Got it figured out with your help. I'm not sure what I was doing before, but it works well now. Story of my life...the one time I have a chance to send somethign via BT, and I can't figure it out. It'll prob never happen again.
