Stereo Headsets
I'm looking for a good stereo headset that i can use with both my iPAQ rx3715 and my A2DP enabled phone - meaning i need a mic. I've been using the Anycom BSH-100, but it's really horrible for streaming music.

Anyone have any suggestions of what works well?

I can recommend several headphone and earphone sets, but none of them have a mic.
None that are small and portable anyways.

The Plantronics Pulsar 590 is just great! Supports handsfree, A2DP and remote control profiles. Works like a dream with my iPAQ h6340. Mains and USB chargers included. Stereo lead (for airplane use) and carrying case also included. If you get the 590A it includes a BT transmitter.

I use the HP BT headphones and they aren't that bad...they do the job at least and they were really cheap.

Does anyone know the cheapest bt headphones? I want some because my the wires on me $50 earbuds keep on snagging on stuff, sometimes not coming out (either way its bad), but pulling in my ear, and its getting really annoying

Not cheap, but my Motorola HT820 works for great streaming music while paired with my cell (Samsung a990). I use it with my Dell Axim X51v a lot too!

I have the i-tech R35 and the Plantronics Pulsar 260. They are both clip type of devices, with a mic situated on the cable. Both work with my V6700. The sound in the Plantronics is a bit tinny, tho. The i-tech's sound is flawless.

I use my Sony earbuds with the i-tech, whereas I use the supplied earphones with the Plantronics. The connector on the Plantronics earphones is the 2.5 mm 3-post miniplug. You can get adapters for this to work with 3.5 mm 3-post miniplugs, if you have a preferred pair of earphones that use this type of connector, but I haven't done that mod.

Other than that, I haven't compared features between the two.

I'got Gear4 Bluephones working on my X51v with A2DP Tornado patch...

It was wuite difficult to makes them working :

- power on the Axim
- power on blutooth
- Let the headphones power button pushed until the leds blink to blue and red
- search for new BT device on the Axim
- makes the pairing with "1234" key
- left-click the net Gear4 device and choose "Use it as stereo headphone"

Now let's try playing some MP3's or movies with TCPMP : the sounds last 2 seconds and goes off !!

I had to re-do the pairing, power off the Axim while the headphones were On, then power on the axim, and everything goes right.

About sound quality : not really nice: too much high frequencies noise...

I'm waiting from my Kyocera BT headphones that a friend of mine brings me from USA...

I wanted to vote for Lubix
the "necklace when closed" idea is pretty good
but the sound is kinda weak, and it jumps sometimes
the plus is: it connects last connected device by pressing phone button
