Bluetooth Dialing from 2750 to Moto E815 ??
Hello:

I've got a MOTO E815 and have Bluetooth paired with my HP HX2750 WM2003 SE and can connect to the internet via the 815 from PPC. In PPC Contacts bringing up a contact and tap/hold on the telephone number brings up another context menu that offers the choice to dial the number via Bluetooth. This all works and the number goes to the 815 and the 815 dials up a 14.4 data connect. But this is a voice telephone number I am callng and I just want to be able to take advantage of the contacts list in the PPC to dial the voice call, not 14.4 data. Any ideas on what might be the problem?
I've posted this same over on http://www.motomodders.net/Default.a...4&vie w=topic
aka MOTOMODDERS, just in case there might be a problem in the cellphone module. This problem exists in both the default contacts on 2750 and with Pocket Informant.

TIA for your ideas.

He said, replying to self again..... andclosing loops, that after significant investigation via Verizon to Motorola, the Motorola E815 IS capable of performing the aforementioned function but that Verizon in their infinite wisdom has opted NOT to support that hardware function. I don't know for sure but it sounds like MOTO gives the units shipped to Verizon a "frontal lombotomy" er some such.

FWIW I thought I'd better close this question out.

Did u look at howardsforums?
If you look at howardforums.com, if you get the sync cable you can "hack" the E815 to do many more things, despite Verizon's arm wrestling us into submission. I have not tried it but, according to the forums it works. It also voids your warranties and insurance.
