my head phones support both a2dp and avrcp and i would like to use it and i cant find out how to use it do i need a driver or what i have read that it works with windows media player but i cant figure it out

Check HP site for software / driver updates for your model, there are a few BT stack updates that add a stereo headphone profile, I have updated mine on an hx4700.
