No full solution
I have searched the forums that have an IPAQ 1940 with constant problem. There is no full solution for that problem. It stops working and has the following error message The Blue tooth Radio failed to turn ON due to insufficient driver memory available. You must perform a normal rest before you can turn ON the Blue tooth Radio. The error message occurred again and again after the reset. It occasionally
wins after 25 to 35 resets to arrange itself out. It works ok for a few weeks and starts all over again

Help please

You have not found a definitive answer because it does not exist in any of these forums. Believe me....I have searched for it.

This is an ongoing issue that seems to affect some Pocket PCs across all the product lines (not just the h1940). I get the message occasionally on mine, and a soft reset (only one) has always set it right for me becuase it truly was a memory issue. For some a hard reset works. For some reinstalling the last available ROM or driver update for their pocket pc solves it, for others it doesn't. But for some, nothing short of a hardware repair works.

Sorry.

I've found it happens more on the HP's with WM5 than anything else; I had an rx1950 at one point I returned due to a similar issue.. and the hx2490 wasn't much better as it had the same issue until a hard-reset fixed it. :P Reapplying some of the HP fixes didn't fix the issue, at least not on a permanent basis.

Odd part is, the MS stack doesn't show this behavior.

well the rx1950 is not Bluetooth enabled, so I'm not sure that the issue you had with it is similar at all.

And I'm not so sure it's a WM5.0 issue either. I've seen i happen on quite a few older models. Luckily when it has happened with my pocket pcs (I have two that run WM5.0 and two that do not), a soft reset has always set it straight.
