x51v BT DUN with BlackBerry 8830

For some reason my Axim x51v will not pair with my BlackBerry 8830 for DUN. It was working flawlessly with my Motorola e815 but I just upgraded to the 8830 and can't get it going. From the Connection Wizard I am selecting "Connect to Internet via Phone", and then the devices seem to pair ok, but I get this error on the Axim:

"The requested service is not running on this device. Please make sure the service is enabled on the device or select another one to continue."

I check the BT services on the 8830 and it lists:
Headset, Handsfree, Dial-Up Networking

I'm running BT-PPC v1.7.1 Build 3400 on the Axim.

TIA

I cant help you other than to say that I could connect to internet via bluetooth DUN connection through my 8100 Pearl.

Since I installed the latest widcomm drivers I can no longer connect to the blackberry. It is detected, but it doesnt have any services according to the new bluetooth manager with the widcomm drivers.

I like the UI for widcomm much better than the stock drivers, but pretty doesnt help me when I cant use it so I'll have to go back.
