Can I Assign Button or Icon to Bluetooth Device

I am using a QSTARZ Bluetooth GPS and SeeYou Gliding Software with my 51V and on rare occasions the data stream is interrupted and I need to restart the bluetooth connection. (PPC related rather than the GPS, I think)

I am using the Broadcomcomm drivers.

It is difficult while flying to go through all the screen presses to get to the Bluetooth Manager and select the appropriate icon, so ideally, I could use some sort of comand line link to directly access the GPS icon, but this doesn't work.

Neither does BTConnManagerCE.exe GPSName

Does anyone have a solution for this???????????

Many thanks

someone else chime in, but with a little bit of work, this sounds like something mortscript could do.

this is a very simple view of this but can't you go start/ settings / buttons and then assign a button to your application, and if it is setup right shouldn't it connect automatically if the BT is on. A thought.

you can do it
you need to use total commander to find
\Windows\Bluetooth Manager
then copy a link to
\Windows\Start Menu\Programs
then you can assign a button for Bluetooth Manager

Thanks to Everyone,

I found MortScript, and that certainly seems to be the way to go.....

I think it will also be very useful for automating things like automatically turning on WiFi then downloading e-mail as well.

Many thanks
