ATT 8525 and Dell GPS Bluetooth Reciever

I have ATT 8525 and a Dell GPS Bluetooth receiver (that, at one time, used with my Axim X50v) that I cannot get to connect properly (at least the gps software cannot find it). Does anyone know the steps to get this to work? Thanks!

pair them via BT. using COM port profile

create outgoing COMport for that device, Do not use COM0... (some apps will not reference COM0)

in External GPS control panel, hardware comport=the external one you assigned in the BT control panel

Internal COMport is anything available... like 7 or 8, doesn't really matter

Allow windows to manage is checked.

For your GPS programs, choose automatic. If automatic fails, manually select the 7 or 8 from above. If that fails, select the hardware port from the BT panel.
