Cingular 2125 - Who uses one?
Who uses one? And how do you like it?

I've got an Audiovox SMT5600, and am looking at upgrading. I can't quite justify going to an 8125, even though I'd love a PDA phone. However, I have to have a Windows Mobile-based phone, and I'm sticking with Cingular..

FIgured I'd ask.. Thanks!

I tested the 2125 and liked it. I am with you though as I would LOVE to own a 8125 too, but the wife is already planning on killing me because of my gadget expenses. (Of course it was cool when she got here pink razr!)

Check my review out here--------> Cingular 2125

It's cool. I ended up managing to get an 8125 anyway, as I sold my hx4705.. Love it, especially with the latest ROM upgrade.

I have both the 2125 and the SDA. I think both are great devices; I have to say, however, that I think the screen on the 2125 is much more vibrant and sharper than on the SDA.

I also like the button configuration on the 2125 much better. I have large hands and find button pressing on the SDA a chore at the least; I also find that I'm unable to input information without looking at the keypad the way I can on the 2125.

While the WiFi is a great thing to have, I find that (personally) I don't really use it at all, because I have Wizard devices I use for my PDA.

But, like anything else, YMMV.

I have both SDA and MDA now
I like SDA, but I got 2 major gripes that I want to get more.....got MDA ($400 shipped)
SDA works great in Kuwait, however, I have no clue how to configure to use MMS
small buttons is not an issue for me, because I have some nails

Mingkee,

If you have a T-Mobile SDA, it should already be pre-configured to use MMS, unless any of the following is true:

You're (notice I'm saying you're instead of your; pet peeve of mine, LOL! ) using another carrier, especially being outside the U.S..

You've flashed the ROM with that of another carrier, in which case you'd have to input the settings manually.

In any event, if you're still having problems with it, let me know and I'll talk you through it.

Cheers!
