Cingular Blackjack Unboxing - Again...
No video this time, not even pictures. I wanted to post to commend Cingular.I have been testing the Blackjack for a couple weeks for a review. I have really enjoyed the phone and yesterday morning I decided I want to keep using the Blackjack. I called 1-877-CINGULAR, gave them my phone number and requested to "upgrade" to the Blackjack. Five minutes and $299.00 later, It's on the way. To my surprise, it arrived today. Already. WOW. Kudos Cingular for the outstanding service and speed of delivery. I haven't completed my review of the Blackjack yet, but here is what I have online now: <ul> <li><a href="http://www.mobilitysite.com/2006/11/cingular_blackjack_tv_commercial.php">Cingular Blackjack TV commercial</a> <li><a href="http://www.mobilitysite.com/2006/11/get_more_life_out_of_your_cingular_black.php">Get more life out of your Cingular Blackjack Batteries</a> <li><a href="http://www.mobilitysite.com/2006/11/cingular_blackjack_3g_speed_test_video_3.php">Cing ular Blackjack 3G Speed Test Video - 3G is Good!</a> <li><a href="http://www.mobilitysite.com/2006/11/cingular_blackjack_video_1st_look.php">Cingular Blackjack - Video 1st Look</a> <li><a href="http://www.mobilitysite.com/2006/11/cingular_release_the_samsung_blackjack.php">Cingul ar release the Samsung Blackjack</a> <li><a href="http://chris.leckness.com/2006/11/15/i-like-the-cingular-blackjack-so-far/">I like the Cingular Blackjack so far…</a><a href="http://Chris.Leckness.com" target="_blank">( Chris.Leckness.com )</a></li></ul>

I'm interested in hearing how it works with Office type documents. I heard the Smartphones can't edit Excel/Word docs, is that correct? That's the major turnoff right there for me.. Otherwise, I may seriously consider a Blackjack.. I'm totally digging it more and more every time I look at it.

I understand that there is no voice command dialing from a BT headset. People that installed MS VC 1.6 have had no luck.

Can anyone confirm?

I have more than I will publicly admit. That's all I can say, BUT IN MY DEFENSE, some of the phones I have in my possesion do not belong to me and will need to be returned at some point.

Chris - I look forward to seeing what you have to say in your review. I tried out the Samsung i320 for a short while and that phone is what lead me to buying the BlackJack the first day it came out. This is a great Smartphone ... and I've been very happy with it so far!
