Answer delay?

Anyone else have an answer delay? My wife's BJ - when you hit the answer button, and in normal speed, put the phone to your ear and say hello, the call is NOT connected. It takes another second or two. SO you start shouting into the Phone. HELLO? HELLO?

Anyone there?

I've got the same problem on my LG phone with Verizon.

I have noticed the same problem and it is more prononced (the wait) if I have my Jabra ear piece on. I have a Blackjack.
