New BlackJack user here
I've got my new toy from AXIMSITE! I won it in the last contests.

Got my phone 2 days ago. It arrived very quickly given that I am in New Zealand.
First thing to do was to unlock it as it was locked to Cingular. Next morning (6 am my time, yeah, had to get up earlier because of time difference) I called Cingular, but they couldn't unlock my phone because I didn't have any phone number (no sim card in the phone) assigned to this phone. I wasn't their customer. So, I did a quick search in the internet and found lots of sites unlocking gsm phones for 20 -35 backs. Lots of them state in the first page that unlocking phones is legal. But...
I felt that all these sites look a little bit dodgy. I wasn't feel comfortable at all to try any of them. But I had no choice; so picked one, placed an order and after 5 hours got an e-mail with unlock number. I was very stressed while I was entering the unlock code in my new toy. But likely it worked and phone was unlocked succesfully. I inserted my Vodafone SIM card and phone worked! But no data yet. All connection settings were for Cingular network. Another search in the internet - and found settings for Vodafone NZ network. After few hours I had data connection and 3G! Cool! Unfortunatelly I cannot try all cool Cingular stuff installed on the phone. Looking good though. Probably will be able to try when I have my next business trip to US. I am not sure if I can buy Cingular prepaid SIM card in US. Here in New Zealand we can buy just SIM card without phone - prepaid or on-account. I have 4 SIM cards, one was spare and now is used in my BlackJack.
But any way, I am so excited now. A lot of stuff to learn about BlackJack.
