i have a family plan with two lines, able to upgrade

the upgrade options allow me to choose the BJ II Refurb, US$49.99, with my existing plan(550 rollover minutes), and no data plan needed[too expensive w/ data plan]...

I know thie phone doesn't have WiFi, so w/o a data plan, its a phone with more features(camera, GPS, WM6 stuff... i have a dell axim x51v and i love it, but it doesnt have phone features, so the BJ II looks nice for a upgrade...)

a few questions:
1) How is the battery life with the included extended battery? [eg post some actual usage data.... like battery lasting two days with 1hr GPS use/some browsing....]

2) Can i disable EDGE/3G entirely on the device?... i dont' feel like paying for a data plan(i disabled web access entirely on my current phone thru editing/ deleting all the IP info in the WAP access page)......is there such a method for the BJ 2?..... i know i can request AT&T to disable all EDGE/3G transfers, but is there a way to do so on the device itself?

3) How is the phone without a touchscreen? is it much more difficult, or is it just a learning curve

4) I heard you could unlock(hack) the 'locked' GPS chip so that u dont have to use TeleNav(or pay for it)..... is it difficult?

5) do you think the phone is too big for your pockets?

6) anyone who has BJ 2 and has played with a real pocketpc(like x51v) with touch screen.... is there much difference besides the lack of a touchscreen...

7) any complaints? (eg unable to customize home keys/easily scratched LCD..)
